The dash cam's built-in Dual-Band WiFi (2.4GHz & 5.0GHz) allows for faster transfer speeds, though it is important to note that the effective WiFi signal range is limited to approximately 25 feet, and it does not support remote live viewing on your phone from home. The "Kacam" app, compatible with both iPhone and Android, enables easy control, viewing, downloading, and sharing of videos. Additionally, the internal GPS records the driving route and speed, though it cannot be used for GPS navigation.
The dashcam comes with a 64G TF card, and it supports up to 512GB of storage. The loop recording feature ensures that no crucial evidence is lost, and the G-sensor automatically detects collisions, locking the file to prevent overwrite. The 24Hrs parking mode requires a hardwire kit (Asin：B0BL6YMCN9, NOT included), and the super capacitor (without battery) can withstand temperatures from -4° to 158°F (-20°C to 70°C), which may result in the camera running slightly hot.
It is important to note that the dash cam front and rear must be powered by the cigarette lighter port, and the provided wires must always be connected to the power source when in use. While the WiFi feature allows for connection between the phone and the dash camera for video viewing, it does not provide a wireless power solution.
